UPS? More like You Pee… Freely… or something…

unexplainableDear UPS,

The next time a package comes to me from UPS that isn’t handed directly to me with no additional charges or trouble, I’m refusing shipment.

You attempt delivery, I ask you to hold it so I can pick it up.  You attempt again, I angrily ask you to hold it, as I plan to pick it up the next day.  I go to pick it up, OH LOOK IT’S OUT ON THE FUCKING TRUCK!

And you have the tenacity audacity to charge me $40 for the privilege.

Your service sucks.

Fuck you,

Graham

EDIT: Just to note, this is just the latest time I have been screwed around with by UPS.  I have yet to have a good experience with them.

  1. Classy title dear… :p

On another note… to everyone else, yes I’m still alive, I’ll post something soon. As in tomorrow I hope.

  2. (I think you mean temerity and/or audacity rather than tenacity)

and what is it with couriers?! I’ve had problems with almost every one – they wait until the gate is closed before leaving a ‘we couldn’t deliver’ note. If the gate is open they don’t deliver, they just don’t leave a note. Drives me batty.

  3. You are not alone. I too have had nothing but terrible service from UPS. In my latest misadventure they said they would deliver between 7:30 am and 8:30 pm. Luckily I was home that day, however they claimed they tried to deliver my package at 11:36 am. Oddly there was no slip left on my door, which is probably because the guy never came. I was even standing outside by the front door (with the dog.. not standing around like a lunatic) from 10:30-ish to almost 1pm. Never even saw a UPS truck drive down my street. I’m with you, they suck.

  4. Update!

I just picked it up yesterday, it was opened up at customs, and a piece is missing.

Now I have to deal with them even more to figure out what happened.

Argh. At least they removed most of the $40 charge after I bitched at them.

  5. Yeah, never order from UPS or even FedEx, they love to hit you with a $40 fee for filling out the customs paperwork. Better to ship it to a border warehouse for pickup and do the paperwork yourself. Or just ship it USPS. It may take a little bit longer, but not by much, and then CanadaPost fills out the paperwork for you for free!

  6. K, I’m tired of staring at the UPS rant…can we have a new post? PLEASE??? You can write about my mage-hand thingee exploding bombs… 😛
